For those who have known me long enough, you probably would think that I am the last person in the world to be crazy enough to join a marathon. For one simple fact, I hate running. But in this year alone, I have participated in a couple of half marathons (Army Half marathon, Terry Fox Run..etc) and now my first marathon, (Standard Charted 42.195km marathon). I cant explain it. I was amazed my mind literally took over my body when I am close to dying from exhaustion at the 28km mark. I am equally amazed at how my mindset has changed. I am now convinced that Army half marathon is peanuts to me, considering the ordeal I have went through on Sunday. I have toughened up in mind and in soul. Next year, I have fixed my mind on participating some international marathon and half marathons. Anyone care to join me?
