Ah. My younger sister graduated today. Took two days leave off work so that I could be her photographer for a day. Anyway, pretty proud of the fact that she has gotten first class honours and that she has gotten a teaching PhD scholarship. Looks like her brother got a lot to catch up. Ha ha.

The Party Gang.
The mission was to bring back as many durians as we can. We formed up at 01 0300hrs before moving in to the AO after a brief equipment inspection.
The operation was conducted in two phases. Phase 1 (0330hrs to 0500hrs): To scavage any fallen durians along the jungle floor. Phase 2: (0500hrs onwards): To hold ground and to wait for durains to fall.
As you can see in the subsequent photos, the mission was a great success.
The most wonderful weekend I had for ages. Went durian picking somewhere in mandai with my colleagues on Saturday morning (Will post an entry on it soon). Spent the entire Sunday Eating. EARLY MORNING: Had a free vegetarian meal at Guan Min Shan temple in Sin Ming Avenue. LUNCH: Went to Takashimaya for the Singapore Food Festival: Chilli Crab Chase. DINNER: Had Korean dinner with family in thomson before having dessert over in strudel place in the vinicity. SUPPER: Opened a bottle of German sparkling wine.
